Paul Sidney Cert IOSH, MIIRSM - Safety Consultant and Founder
Paul founded Astute Safety Consulting in 2018 after 15 years working in various safety roles in the rail industry.
His qualifications include the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and the Oxford Brookes University Diploma In Health and Safety Management.
Paul is a member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and a member of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management.
His vision for Astute Safety Consulting is to provide health and safety services at all levels, making it accessible for any business that needs short and long term help.
Iain Allan - Safety Consultant
Iain is an experienced Health and Safety Manager and worked as the Head of Safety in nationwide companies in the UK.
He is experienced at working on construction sites and specialises in working at height. This has been developed by being responsible for the safe working in climbing telecoms and radio towers.
Iain also has experience of introducing and developing safety and environmental systems such as ISO14001 and ISO45001.
Iain has memberships of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and regularly attends training events to develop his skills.
Lynnette Owen - Safety Consultant
Lynnette has held many customer service and support roles in hospitality and business.
Many of these roles have included being responsible for health and safety including carrying out risk assessments and display screen equipment assessments.
Lynnette has memberships of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) Lynnette is training for higher level qualifications in health and safety to extend her skills and work more with our clients.
Hazel Owen ACMA CGMA MAAT - Business Support Manager
Hazel has had a long career in financial and customer service roles in retail, banking and business.
Her qualifications include a BA Honours Degree and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and the Association of Accounting Technicians
Hazel brings her skills to Astute Safety Consulting, looking after everything behind the scenes to keep us running smoothly.
Marie Noble - Business Support Assistant
Marie has worked in various customer service roles, primarily in the insurance industry.
Marie brings her customer service and administrative skills to Astute Safety Consulting and is making sure that we have our systems operating as they should.
